Mike, of Snapper Electric, readily accepted a small job to replace our outdoor floodlights and to install a new motion sensor flood light. He arrived to the minute at the stated time, and performed all aspects of the job in a very professional manner. There were a couple of "issues" with several of the fixtures that he addressed and fixed, avoiding replacement costs. All of this and he managed to come in under the estimated cost of the job. As impressed as I was with his quality of work and professionalism, I am more impressed at the pace he worked. The Energizer Bunny could not have kept up with him. Many Thanks! ~ James G

We have used Snapper Electric about 4 times, each time Mike thoroughly looked at and listened to the problems we were having and went above and beyond at this last appointment to make sure our oven was working safely when we were worried about it sporadically turning on and off. I like how he explains what he is doing and why, plus how to prevent or help in the future. We also get weekly helpful tips in a newsletter and really appreciate the personal touch of a Thank You note after each appointment! Maryland.... NEED AN ELECTRICIAN?..... Look no further! Words escape me at the amazing customer service delivered by Mike Cliffe(Master Elec.) at Snapper Electric. I called to inquire about services to uninstall my Chargepoint EV home charger. Michael said he can come by to work on this for me. He asked me to send him pics so he can advise properly. I sent the pics and Michael responds back with where to look and how to uninstall. I was shocked! No call charge. No service charge. Just the instructions and he wishes me an amazing weekend!!! This was probably the 3rd or 4th time we have used Snapper Electric, but this was by far our largest project. As with all previous jobs, Mike took the time to make sure we were getting exactly what wanted. He even assisted us with our lighting layout, making suggestions based on his expertise. He was upfront on our costs, and let us know before proceeding when something changed (unforeseen repairs that could not be accounted for in estimate since they were inside the wire box). He was patient with our questions and concerns. He always arrived at his promised time. He also did a final walk through with us to make sure we were 100% satisfied before accepting payment. We can definitely recommend Snapper electric. Work performed: installation of multiple ceiling fans, running wires for new switches, installation of LED recessed lights, installation of multiple fixtures (some of which required junction box repairs), replacement of old GFCI outlet, installation of Smart Home Dimmer Switches ~ Brian F

Mike (Snapper Electric) is always responsive (24/7) and provides quality service at a great value. When he installed my Ring Flood Light, he was very professional, knowledgeable, and informed me of every step of the process. Recently, I had an issue with a few outlets not working in my house. I called Mike at 8:30 PM and he provided me assistance over the phone. Within 20 minutes, I located and resolved the issue. This is straight up honest!! I called him on 2/8 with an electrical problem. Half my house either didn't have power or have enough to do anything with. He was honest with that it probably wouldn't till 5ish that he could come out to LOOK at the problem. Was honest that he probably couldn't do anything to fix it right away. He told me what I needed to do for now was call BGE. Said that by my description, it sounded like a BGE problem and that usually 90% of the time it is. I called BGE, they came out, took one look at my meter and said, yup, it's on our end, we'll have a crew to get ya back up in a couple hours. Snapper could have come out, taken a look and charged me for his time, but he didn't. He SAVED me money and stress. I have some electrical projects here at my house I want to tackle sometime this year, instead of doing it myself, I'm gonna call Snapper. Mike was excellent and has a lot of experience. Good communication, great work with no problems. He is very knowledgeable with plenty of experience. Down to earth kinda guy. He installed a new meter can, 2 new copper ground rods, and a home surge protection system on a panel with no open slots. He made it work. I can rest easy now. I plan on hiring him again for the circuit breaker panel upgrade. You will notice that he consistently gets 5 star reviews and im helping him as he helped me by writing this review. We will only call Snapper Electric-- Mike is responsive, quick with a quote, reliable, and true to his word. He always confirms the date and time, and invariably shows up early. If he think we are capable of doing something ourselves, he will gently encourage us to not spend money. If he hears that we are frustrated and need an electrician, he immediately finds time in his schedule. He works quickly, cleans up when he's done, and does beautiful work. ~ Katrina M

Several months back, I had to call a plumber to fix some busted pipes in my former house. The plumber that showed up had to be the worst plumber in America. Horrible service and terrible attitude. So naturally when I needed to find an electrician for the house I just purchased I was very reluctant. I contacted Snapper Electric based on a few positive online reviews. They answered the phone right away (no having to leave a message and hope they call back). I talked to Mike and told him my issue. He got my contact information and said he would get back to me. To my surprise, later that same day he called me and said he was on his way over. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with Mike's professionalism and great attitude. After doing some troubleshooting, Mike was quickly able to identify the problem. He also educated me on what caused the problem. Based on the amount of work he performed his cost was very reasonable. Michael was quick to respond to my request for an estimate to install a bathroom exhaust and vanity light. The day the work was scheduled he was on time and prepared for the job at hand. He took the time to talk through all of the options and made the extra effort to make sure the work was done to my specifications and in the most efficient and visually appealing manner. I don't normally write reviews but I actually was referred to Snapper Electric through my home warranty company and have had Michael from Snapper Electric out to my house on a couple occasions. He did a such a great job at repairing my original problem. He was prompt and even took the time to explain the issue before preforming the repair. Even with his busy schedule he made time to address an unrelated electrical hazard during the same visit to make sure we were safe. Since that first visit I hired him to replace my electrical panel and install a new outlet in our living room. He was right on point with cost (not the cheapest, but right on par with other trustworthy contractors), and was honest with what to expect. He was very informative and worked with me on planning for a few future projects before starting the panel replacement. This new panel is one of the most organized things I have ever seen. Again, If you are in the market for a great electrical contractor call Michael. He is truly a old school, straight forward, honest businessman. Mike the owner was AWESOME!!!!! I can't say enough good things about him. He worked side by side with Atlas Exteriors for 2 days relocating the location of the power Line and making repairs on my customer's house. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. I had all 85 of the switches and outlets changed in my house. Total job took two days. Mike was very professional, knew his stuff and always on time. He fixed several issues along the way. I just finished putting the power cord on the dryer and plugged it in, only to find out that the previous owner did not even have the plug itself hooked up to the electrical box. Mike showed up the same day that I called and installed a separate breaker for the dryer. I was able to leave work and come back to work in a very short amount of time. ~ Matt G
